 Concept & Goals

  • The main objective of “English in use for the Tourism, Hospitality and Travel industries” is to develop the learners’ communication skills through a wide range of work-related, realistic and integrated communication tasks.
  • The course will give the learners the opportunity to build confidence and improve their fluency.

Content

  • Working in travel and tourism: different kinds of people.
  • Dealing with enquiries: being friendly and helpful.
  • International travel: ways of travelling, around the world.
  • Answering the phone: using the phone, taking messages.
  • Correspondence: responding to enquiries and confirming reservations.
  • Accommodation: check in and check out, giving information.
  • Dealing with problems: complaints and difficult customers.
  • Dealing with payments.
  • Additional services: car rental, local knowledge.
  • Activities and attractions: sightseeing.

At the end of the course a certificate of participation will be issued
